Background: I created this handout while working at the Seattle Pacific University Research, Reading & Writing Studio. I deigned it to be used by students who are struggling to get the most out of difficult college-level texts. I read a research article that offered some amazing reading strategies, and included them on this handout along with my own detailed explanations to guide students on how to use them. I also created the visual design for this handout.
