I am a recent college graduate passionate about writing, reading, and anything involving words.

I graduated from Seattle Pacific University (SPU) in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. My experience includes serving customers at Apex Learning and tutoring students at the Seattle Pacific University Research, Reading, and Writing Studio.

As a student, I gained experience across disciplines with many types of writing. I wrote analytical essays about literature and sentence structure, journalistic articles, and a research paper discussing how current legislation is affecting consumer purchasing habits. I also took a course over multiple quarters that accompanied my tutoring position, where I created 2 resources for students that are published on the SPU Library website.

I’ve also been experimenting with new types of writing since graduation: UX writing and marketing copywriting. I completed multiple exercises after informational interviews and completing a LinkedIn Learning course. These include my UX Writing Exercise, Sample Product Description, and Sample Social Media Copy.

While at Apex Learning, I wrote and sent many emails to customers (over 1400 Salesforce cases completed) and wrote scripts to refer to when speaking to escalated customers about complex situations. I also assisted my coworkers by revising, editing, and providing feedback about their important emails before they were sent.

While tutoring at SPU, I taught students reading, writing, revision, and research strategies, as well as provided specific feedback about students’ papers. I also assisted many international students with editing and proofreading their writing.

I live in the Greater Seattle Area.
